To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, an exhibition at Doddington will share local stories about the people and the area over the last 70 years. Open daily from Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June in St John’s Church, drop in any time between 10am and 5pm to enjoy a bit of nostalgia, learn about how the community has changed over the years, read and hear local people’s memories, some recorded for the first time. And what would a visit to St John’s be without a cuppa and refreshments? Of course they’ll be there! Parking available at the Village Hall or at the nearby cattle grid, but please keep the bus stop clear – or better yet, why not time your visit to use the 292 bus?
