The Red Lion is working in partnership with St James Church and Barton Parish Council to celebrate Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee with the lighting of the beacon on the top of the Church tower.
The event will be celebrated before hand with music in the Churchyard provided by the ‘Red Lion Jubilee Band, with special guest Janice Williamson’ from 9pm, the beacon will then be lit at 9:45 p.m prompt!
You’re invited to bring a chair or blanket to sit and listen and to join us singing
‘God Save the Queen’ lead by the band.
The celebrations will then continue at the Red Lion for a ‘Party in the Pub’
