The Beacon Trail
As part of local plans to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, from April 30th until June 12th, we have teamed up with High Street Safari to run a free story-trail in seven parks across the borough.
The Beacon Trail will be live from Saturday 30th April to Sunday 12th June.
Rather than this taking place in one town centre in the borough, we have decided to run the trail across seven parks in the borough – one in each township.
The locations will be;
• Rhyddings Park, Oswaldtwistle
• Gatty Park, Church
• Mercer Park, Clayton-le-Moors
• Lowerfold Park, Great Harwood
• Cutwood Park, Rishton
• Oak Hill Park, Accrington
• Haworth Park, Baxenden
The Platinum Jubilee Double Decker Bus will act as a free hop on – hop off bus for the beacon trail between 11am and 3pm on the following dates;
7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st, 28th, 29th May
5th, 11th, 12th June
