The Friends of Berwick & District Museum and Archives help support the work of these two service and have partnered with the Maltings to create this event. Using archive images, we have created a photographic exhibition of what has happened in Berwick from 1952 to 2022 and royal connections including visits and Jubilee celebrations. This free event will run over two days – Saturday 4 June ( 10 – 4) and Sunday 5 June ( 11- 4). As well as the display, we will be showing some old films shot in the area during that period including the Queen’s Visit to Berwick in 1956. There will also be some children’s activities and a display of prints created by local school children. Come along and find out how the town has changed over the Queen’s reign and try and identify people in the images.
