Our local church, St Aidan’s, has joined together with local businesses and organisations to celebration the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. We are planning to have a bring your own picnic, face-painting, bouncy castle, children’s crafts, ice-cream van, traditional games (stocks, hook-a-duck, tug-of-war), fancy dress, cake competition, and hopefully some background music from throughout the years of the Queen’s reign.
