I am a farmer’s wife who has been researching the history of the Monarchy for almost 50 years. Along the way, I have acquired a huge collection of memorabilia stretching back to 1761 – Coronation of King George lll. I have utilised an old dairy on the farm as a museum dedicated to the Monarchy and over the Jubilee weekend, I intend to celebrate there! Thursday and Friday, I will open my museum to the public and offer afternoon teas. Saturday it will be open to pre=booked groups and Sunday, we will be hosting a huge party in one of the fields for anyone who wants to come and bring their own picnic. There will be music, games, competitions for all of the family. And everyone will take home a Platinum Jubilee gift. We also intend to plant trees for The Queen’s canopy on the farm and will also have a beacon.
