Dartmouth Town Council are organising a big Jubilee weekend with lots and lots of activities for everyone to join in with.
All the details are here, but to sum it all up we have a * procession through the town leading to an opening ceremony.
* a torch lit parade finishing up with the lighting of the beacon.
* Jubilee markets every day,
* music and charity stall every day in Royal Avenue Gardens. * afternoon tea from Dartmouth Caring in the Butter Market. * Ribbon cutting and plaque unveiling of new trees in Dartmouth Orchard.
* Silent Jubilee Disco for the youth,
* Floodlighting of the BRNC where Princess Elizabeth first met Prince Philip in 1939.
* Church choir in Royal Avenue Gardens.
* Cruise on the Paddle Steamer ‘Kingswear Castle’.
* BRNC event with live bands, bar, BBQ and fireworks.
* Big Jubilee picnic on Coronation Park with children’s entertains, bouncy castles, Morris dancing, walking rugby and bbq refreshments.
