The group behind LGBTQI+ club Duckie present a night for insurgents, as Prinx Azara rounds up a seditionary crew of abolitionists, unpardonables and ne’er do wells.

Starring Marie Lloyd, Liv Wynter, Travis Alabanza, Midgette Bardot, Thick & Tight, Vidya Patel, Emma Dogliani & Kate Conway and Lasana Shabazz, and featuring (just out of retirement) Bette Bourne as HRH The Queen. There’s also dancing ‘til late with DJs Readers Wifes.

Duckie is a group of veteran queer club-runners that emerged out of the wasteland of south London’s Vauxhall a quarter of a century ago. Renowned for mixing progressive pub rock by DJs Readers Wifes with arty, provocative short stage shows currently hosted by Azara, it runs every Saturday night at Royal Vauxhall Tavern.

Part of Southbank Centre’s Jubilee series of performances and parties marking Her Majesty The Queen’s 70-year reign.
