The Highlanders’ Museum (THM)is home to the Queen’s Own Highlanders Collection of regimental artefacts and is an Accredited, Visit Scotland 5-star rated, independent military museum situated within Fort George. It is a visitor attraction showcasing highland military history and is the jewel in the crown of the historic fort, which is still a working military barracks.
We invite you to pack-up a picnic and join us at The Jubilee picnic, whether you bring a cheese and pickle sandwich, or a BLT there will be plenty of family fun and entertainment on offer to enjoy whilst you picnicking on the parade ground, with live music, face painting, activities and even a teddy bears Picnic story time with Winston the Highland bear to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
