The Kensington and Chelsea Over 50s Forum is working with the Royal Borough and all the voluntary organisations across the Borough including the Cadet and Uniformed Youth Organisations to organise this community event to celebrate Tea for the Queen for Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee.
The tea, themed as a street party, but indoors, will take place at the Town Hall in Hornton Street on Sunday 5th June 2022 from 12 noon – 3:00 pm.
The Kensington and Chelsea Over 50s Forum is the Royal Borough’s largest independent older people’s forum dedicated to creating an environment in which older people are active partners in the decisions that affect their lives.
We offer a wide range of activities that enrich the lives of older people living in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. We provide older people with the opportunity to be part of the decision-making process in shaping local policies. We actively contribute towards the planning, design and delivery of local services for older people. We also work to alleviate social isolation. We have a record since our inception in 1996 of helping older residents gain the confidence to influence decision-making processes.
Our diverse membership represents the entire Borough and currently stands at over 2,000 members.
We are members of the Kensington and Chelsea Chamber of Commerce. We are proud recipients of the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2017
