Cardiff and Vale Scouts hosted a special tree planting ceremony at their Jubilee Campsite in the Vale of Glamorgan to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022. The Scouts in conjunction with the Woodland Trust and volunteers from Lloyds Bank planted 800 tree saplings throughout their campsite as part of a masterplan to redevelop the campsite. The saplings were planted as a simple natural solution to climate change, cleaner air, a habitat for wildlife and enhancement of health and wellbeing.
