We are a neighbourhood project based on Pendower Estate in the west end of Newcastle upon Tyne. We will be working with an artist and community members to design and make a series of painted silk batik flags. There will be 7 flags in total, each depicting a different decade of the 70 years of the Queen’s reign. The flags will be on display outside our centre over the Jubilee weekend.
