St Marys Church will host a Jubilee Beacon Event on Thur 2 Jun. The beacon will be placed on the church tower and lit at 9.15 pm alongside all national beacons across the country. A piper will play the Jubilee. Lament. Beforehand the Winchester military wives choir will provide entertainment, there will Queens Jubilee tart to eat with hot and cold drinks gathering around The Green and the Church with great view of the Tower. From 8 pm till 1000.
