Hawkhurst Parish Council are holding a free event on Thursday 2nd June for everyone to come along, enjoy and evening of Live music, bring your picnic or there will be a bbq to buy from. There will be a parade of lanterns around the moor before they come to rest for the beacon to be lit followed by 70 fireworks to mark the beginning of the celebrations in the village.
We will be running a lantern making session in the run up to this date.
