This is a one-off event based on the street party ethos – but with most of the streets in the village too steep or small to hold one, we’re encouraging people to “bring your street to the party” at a central location. People will bring food and drink to share but the organising committee will also be organising a free hog roast, music, children’s entertainment, necessary facilities, tables and chairs, decorations and souvenirs for everyone. Two locations within the village are under consideration but neither can be finalised until the beginning of April. Attendance is limited to village residents and business operators plus any family or friends staying with them over the bank holiday weekend.
