We are kicking off the weekend of Jubilee celebrations with the lighting of the official Jubilee Beacon for Wigan Borough. Girlguiding Lancashire South County, whose patron is Queen Elizabeth II, will be hosting an evening of music, food, and festivities ahead of this momentous occasion. Bring your own picnic or tuck into the BBQ and other food on offer. Settle down in front of a fabulous stage show packed full of local talent. Join in with a Girlguiding singalong or learn the words to The Song for the Commonwealth. It is an evening not to be missed!
