Our members are going by coach on a day trip to Brigg Garden Centre and are having a celebration afternoon tea together there. The aim of our Branch is to provide support and friendship to people diagnosed with Parkinson’s, and their carers too. Many of our group live alone or away from family support, often without their own transport making it a lonely and isolating disease. We are preparing this trip to be full of laughter, singing and sharing food and friendship. This will raise spirits and provide happy memories at a time when many are fearful of socialising after the long restrictions of COVID-19. It will be a day to remember for everyone involved and we will all raise our tea-cups to Her Majesty with thanks for her dedication to her people on this special occasion.
