Wealden District Council are hosting an invite-only event to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and to thank members of our community who worked hard to support others during the pandemic lockdown (known as our ‘Covid Heroes’) and many other charitable groups. The event will take place at Pevensey Castle and guests will be able to enjoy a choir, a brass band, some light refreshments and illumination of the Castle walls. The official bugle call ‘Majesty’ will be played, along with the Song for the Commonwealth and one of the Castle towers will be lit up at 9.45pm.
