Working with the Town Council the Church is opening its doors to the people of Ross for a series of events covering every day of the Jubilee holiday. Groups from across the town are involved and have been invited to attend. All events are open to all (Within limitations of Venue capacity) All events will be free to enter. Sponsorship has been obtained from Ross Town Council, Cream Tea Society and Full Fibre Broadband. Events will include Art Exhibition in the Church over a 3 week period, with entries from local schools, art clubs Ross photo club and others; The Screening of the colour Film – “A Queen is Crowned” with refreshments, Screening of Trooping of the Colour and Service of Thanksgiving with refreshments, Jubilee Tea Party with Ross Town Band, Ballroom Dance demonstrations and an opportunity to dance for all. a Jubilee Concert with over 100 singers and a live youth dance group and live folk music concluding in the community singing of the Jubilee anthem , Jubilee Festival in cooperation with Wye Valley River Festival, Town Picnic in Churchyard and Ecumenical Jubilee Songs of Praise with Lord Lieutenant. The Church will be decorated with Bunting and Flags. Linked to these events will be the Lighting of the Ross Beacon and the Ross Platinum Festival (both events to be managed by Ross Town Council) . The event will be widely publicised using print and digital medium.
