The Shipley Platinum Jubilee soapbox race is being organised to bring the local community together to celebrate Her Majesty’s 70 years on the throne. Entry fees from the event will be donated to Shipley CE Primary Schools registered charity ‘Friends of Shipley School’ – Charity No. 1101465. Special thanks to all the sponsors such as Horsham and Shipley Community Project, Platinum Ambulance, Shipley Parish Council and House Coren, Frisco Pub Co. and Buck Barn Co-op for their contributions to this event. Other sponsors in-kind are also much appreciated. A family event for all, with hot food from Sussex Lamb and hot drinks from The Busy Bean Coffee Machine, two licensed bars by ‘Brolly Brewing’ and ‘House Coren Vineyards, plus sweet treats and entertainment!
