Sleaford Town Council and the William Alvey C of E School have worked in partnership to bring an exciting 1940s Day event to Sleaford! The event will be held on Saturday 4th June 2022, from 11.00am to 4.00pm, at the William Alvey C of E School.

Entry to the event will be free and all the attractions will be free!

We have got so much lined up for the day to suit all ages! The entertainment and attractions will include:

Singers and music, including Fiona Harrison “A Voice in a Million.”
Trade stalls
Drink and cake stalls
Air raid shelter tours
Tea Dance
Vintage games
Bouncy castle and inflatable obstacle course
Face painting
1940s Hair Stylist
Model displays of tanks and soldiers
Punch and Judy shows
Balloon modelling
Historic vehicles
Fire Engine
Vintage style ice cream seller

Bring a chair and a picnic and make a day of it!

There will be disabled parking in the school grounds and the nearest Car Park to the School is Eastgate Car Park (The HUB) Car Park. Parking is free of charge up to one hour (you are required to display a ticket from the machine), up to three hours is £1.50 and over 3 hours is £3.50. Please use the ticket machine and display a ticket clearly.
