Arts on prescription provide creative and wellbeing activities that promote the benefits of art, culture and nature to communities.
We have a year program of free events throughout the year starting on 16 April with the grand opening by the mayor who will be cutting the ribbon at our new venue in the park.
This day will be launching The Alexandra Park Jubilee Project with a community picnic, inviting residents, local agencies to get involved in an exciting year ahead of intergenerational, creative art workshops, share memories and celebrate 70 years of this beautiful urban park meandering through Hastings town centre.
On 4-5 June we will be holding the Platinum Jubilee Tea Party and Community Picnic.
Both events will start at 11- 5 pm and each will involve free art workshops, talks, walks in the park and song.
Please come and join us, bring a picnic, share your personal stories of the park and help us create a lasting memorial for the Alexandra Park Jubilee Project depicting 70 years of this heritage park.
