The Worldham Parish, consisting of East Worldham, West Worldham and Hartley Mauditt will be marking the Platinum Jubilee with two official events, namely: The Beacon Lighting Ceremony and The Big Jubilee Lunch.

Lighting up the UK for the Queen’s Jubilee – Thursday 2 June from 21:00
A torchlight and lantern procession will leave The Three Horseshoes pub on Caker Lane and make its way to Park Farm where the Bonfire Beacon will be lit at 21:45 along with more than 1500 beacons around the country and across the Commonwealth. Some lanterns will be provided but guests are asked to please bring their own if they can. There is no charge for this event and it is open to all.

The Big Jubilee Lunch – Sunday 5 June from 12 noon
An afternoon of friendship, food and fun for parish residents and their friends and family at Park Farm, East Worldham. A 2-course BBQ lunch, catered by the team from The Three Horseshoes, will be served. This will be followed by softball and fun children’s activities.
(Prizes for the best homemade crown and best miniature Palace Garden.)
£10 pp – includes a choice of a chicken, steak or veggie kebab, salads and a selection of delicious desserts.
Under 10s are free – Children’s Lunch includes a roll, choice of sausage, salad, juice and an ice lolly.
