The Parish Council along with the local sports groups, Cricket, Youth Football and Petanque are hosting a weekend of fun for the whole family. Starting on Thursday 2nd with Family games on the Parley Sports Field followed by a picnic in the park then our local Brass Band, Children’s entertainer and other events will complete the evening with the lighting of a beacon.
Friday 3rd May will be a come and try fun day with Cricket, Saturday fun with local football and Sunday 4th Learn and love the sport of Petanque. Theses events are for the whole family
We also have a heritage trail with a walk around the village to learn about the Queen’s reign and events in each of the decades of her time on the throne.
There will be opportunities for elderly members of the parish to come together and share their memories of the last seventy years.
