Withypool community has come together to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee by lighting a beacon on Withypool Hill on Thursday 2 June and holding a Big Jubilee Lunch on Sunday 5 June. In addition there will be a church service of thanksgiving in St Andrew’s church on the Sunday evening evening and a flower festival in the church throughout the celebrations.
